tonight i attended a harry potter book premiere thing. THESE PEOPLE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS SHIT. rabid. foaming at the mouth, elbows lashing out, teeth bared...fucking serious as hell, man. it's kinda cool though, because the cloaks, witch hats, & magic wands coupled with a countdown to midnight kinda makes it feel like halloween and new year's all in one night. it also warms my heart to see so many children dressed up like wizards, witches and other magical sheistyfolk and thinking this is cool. yay.

i got some quidditch goggles. i didn't buy the book. i can wait for the paperback.

Confession: I preordered the book in December from Amazon and it will be delivered tomorrow.

To be fair, I had received an amazon gift certificate for x-mas and the presale happened right around then. But, um I did also preorder the last book 5 months in advance.

I've never dressed like Hermione though. I swear.

i enjoy reading them and i even like the movies but there is way too much hype surrounding it all...i can wait for the paperback too or, gasp, check it out at the library...or i will just borrow the book from one of the several friends that are fanatics...

i have to admit: i am tired of hearing about harry potter...there, i said it!!!

i'm reading the fifth book right now, and it's really fucking irritating me because EVERYONE BITCHES throughout the entire book so far. jeez.

You just have to let all the hype talk roll off you so that you can get into and enjoy the Potterverse with no animosity. (-: That being said, I don't know how I feel about this book. I've gone from saddness to anger to acceptance...I can't wait for denile to set in so I'll be free to read it again. tehe. I don't like where it is going, but I really don't want to talk about it fully right now. Any way, the best part of HP is the world that he lives in. That's what i dig. Oh wait, do you guys even care about this?......probably not....how sad.
